The Remix86 Collection was a hit on Tumblr, thanks to It’s Only Cardboard, Right? so I’ve decided to continue that project, with another significant set: 1988 Fleer and 1989 Hoops. All familiar, Hall of Fame names and cards as well.

First off, this shirt below is hilarious! $25.40 over at Spreadshirt. They should have priced it at $24 or $24.05, to give it more tie-in.

m1000 custom shirts: Half Man Half Amazing VC version

While searching for some cool Vince Carter shirts, I couldn’t find squat online. Well, I couldn’t find any ones that I liked, anyway. I did a quick Google Search and saw the Nets, Suns, Magic basic tees that you would find in any Champs store, ebay, etc…

But then I came across a Half Man Half Amazing shirt, by Fitted Hawaii.

This was made in reference to Nas’ classic song with the same name, branded in Blue and Orange New York colorway. Every hiphop and hoops fan knows that there is where Kenny Smith derived VC’s nickname from.

Well, after a bit of photoshop, here’s what I think a fresh vintage Vince Carter would look like. I’m sure this would sell, even though hes slipped off the radar the last few years, because everyone still remembers his vicious days from Toronto, where he earned his nickname. His first few years in the L will never be forgotten. This shirt would definitely be one way ensure it doesn’t.
