Hypothetical Question: How do you remember him?

Okay, this is a hypothetical question, not based on any real player.

Scenario 1:
An NBA rookie joins a solid playoff team and wins an NBA title within 4 years. He is not yet a superstar, but contributes to the team during the regular season, playoffs and Finals. He leaves the team via trade/free agency in his before his 5th year and plays predominately for one team for the rest of his career and the accomplishments build. All-Star games, scoring, rebounding, blocking and/or assists crowns. Superstar status.  He plays maybe 7-9 years on this team, then possibly moves on to other team(s) in the twilight of his career.

Which team do you associate this player with, once he is inducted into the Hall of Fame?

Scenario 2:
An NBA rookie joins a terrible team and plays there for up to 10 years. Along the way he becomes a perennial All Star, wins scoring, rebounding, blocking, and/or assist titles. Superstar status.  Only thing is, he does NOT win an NBA title. By the end of his last contract, he leaves. he joins another playoff team. . Plays on this team for a few seasons.  He wins an NBA title, but more so as a 2nd option at best.  Maybe he plays for one or more teams before he retires.

Which team do you associate this player with, once he is inducted into the Hall of Fame?

2 good questions…1 great answer!! i think the team where the most accomplishments happen are recognised but there isnt anything wrong with recognising multiple teams. Emmitt Smith, the greatest NFL RB of all time played with dallas and did EVERYTHING there…then played for the cardinals but you only associate emmitt with the cowboys….now with the NHL, Ray Bourque, the greatest defenseman of all time played 21 years with boston without winning a cup, he then went to colorado for 2 years and won the cup! he’s associated with both teams….
