Yes, you are reading that correctly. Another Jordan insert from the 90’s almost reached a grand. This one was won with a Buy it Now price and both the buyer and seller seem legit, so I think this is a real sale.

I’ve never heard of this insert until I saw the eBay auction when it ended. Magnificent!

UPDATE: HOT 99 Ultra Millennium Men inserts

I had previously mentioned that the 99 Ultra Millennium Men /100 inserts of Steve Francis and Elton Brand had sold well over book value. Well, another card from the set, Grant Hill, was listed recently and ended for $49.00.

The stated BV is $30.00, so it does seem like this set of HOT right now, with a few people bidding up the cards.

99 Ultra Millenium Men

On the trails of the 98 Ultra Playmakers Theatre set, I was notified by email from a guy named Ronald (thanks, Ronald!) about another hot insert set that has been selling well.  Check out prices on 99 Ultra Millenium Men numbered to 100.

Steve Francis ended at over $100.   Elton Brand ended at over $130.  If you have them, now would be a good time to sell on eBay!

98 Fleer Playmaker’s Theatre

I really like the design of these cards, and well, now I’ve decided to track them. I don’t know how much they sold for before, but the recent Jordan sale caught my eye, and I’m sure it has attracted attention from a lot of collectors, too.
